Our client is one of the leading trading companies in the Baltic region, specializing in food ingredients. The company is expanding its operations and is looking for a Business Development Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of new product categories within the food industry segment;
Identification, evaluation, and negotiation of cooperation terms with suppliers;
Preparation of commercial proposals and development of business relationships with partners;
Representation of the company at international trade fairs, business events, and meetings;
Market and competitor analysis, along with identifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
 University degree in Food Technology or a related discipline;
Proven experience in procurement, sales, or business development (preferably within the food industry);
In-depth knowledge of food ingredients, raw materials, and their functional properties;
Analytical mindset with exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities;
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus);
Proactive and results-driven, able to work independently and in a team.
