What You’ll Do:
As Accounting Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of company's financial operations. Your responsibilities include:
Review and control of accounting documents and transactions recording function, ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting policy and legal requirements.
Overseeing the process of tax calculations and ensuring the timely filing of tax returns and reports in cooperation with outsourced tax partners/advisors.
Participating in month-end and year-end closing process to deliver timely and accurate accounting data. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statutory statements.
Participate in full accounting control process to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of accounting data.
Contribute to the review of existing accounting processes/procedures/policies, identifying existing problems and challenges. Participate in creating, implementing, and continuous improving of existing and newly established processes.
Assist Head of accounting unit to solve various accounting and taxation related matters. Support other departments in organization to handle accounting and tax related questions.

Reikalavimai

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax (BIG4 experience is a big plus).
Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle that begins with initial transactions and ends when a company closes its books to prepare statutory financial statements
Experience of applying knowledge in practice on Lithuanian tax reporting requirements (VAT, CIT, PIT, Real estate tax, etc.).
Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and solid English skills (at least B2 level) both written and spoken.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience with accounting software MS Dynamics 365 Business Central or Oracle (a plus).
Experience in payroll run process and related tax reporting (a plus).
Analytical and crytical thinking, attention to details, accuracy, accountability, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
